What is the legal Position/Responsibility of the BA and relevant landowners regarding tree felling etc and could this be used as a lever to obtain more moorings.
As this is quite complicated please use sister thread for discussion.
The Broads Authority does not have any power to charge for tree felling, but can require access to land to remove dangerous and/or overhanging trees. I am not entirely sure how this could be used as a lever for moorings however.
I do not know the legal position regarding waterways but with highways it is the adjacent landowners responsibility to remove overhanging/dangerous vegetation or be charged for its removal.
