Oulton Broad – Mutford Lock – Not operational

Please note that due to tidal surge damage Mutford Lock, the foot bridge and road bridge and will not be accessible and are currently not operational.  More information will be published when known.

Broads - Severe Flood Alerts
The Broads Authority is advising boaters to stay off the water as the Environment Agency and Met Office continue to issue severe flood warnings along the east coast.
Visit the Environment Agency's Floodline website (updated every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week - for the latest information and advice).
Or you can call the Environment Agency's Floodline on 0845 9881188 any time night or day for real-time flood warnings and advice.
If there is any risk of danger to people, property or the environment from floodwater you should ring 999.
Members of the public are asked to stay away from flooded areas, particularly riverbanks, and never to wade through any flood water, even if it is still. Drain covers can shift during flooding and pose a danger to anyone wading through the area.
Hazard to Navigation
One large container and several large timbers are adrift on Breydon Water following last night’s floods. Please take extra caution.

Kind regards
