Hi People, I am currently restoring a Norfolk Knights of Horning G Class Motor Sailer, I believe she spent most of her life on the Broads until about 6 years ago when it was taken out of the water for some TLC, But she had been left to the elements, She is at a boat yard on the river crouch (Essex). She isn't in to bad a shape just needs a lot of sanding, paint, varnishing & sealing up and her Volvo Penta MD2B still runs after being left for 6 years, I would like to know if any one has any info & pictures of the Norfolk Knights of horning G Class Yacht . I also would be greatful for any hits and tips in my restoration project. Feel free to check out my Facebook page on the restoration https://www.facebook.com/pages/BoatrestorationatBradyHoleBoatYa rdNamtobeannounced/1507083099507480

One of our members, Craig, has a vast data base of Broads-registered boats. You can find his info on the G Class here . It doesn't seem like there are many on the Broads, though.

As you may have noticed, this site has one or two foibles (they're not catching though). First one is that you have to give your avatar picture a name that no one else is likely to use eg FrippStaaa-avatar.jpg, otherwise your pic will over-ride everyone else's who used the same file name. This seems to have happened and you now share the same avatar as Manko. Scroll down to the bottom of this page http://the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=48&Topic=36039&srow=41&erow=60 and you'll see what I mean. The next one is you can only upload one photo in each post, so to post several, you have to make a new post for each one. Give each photo a different file name, or you'll fall foul of Foible No. 1, and each subsequent photo will over-write the preceeding one.

I see from your photo that she still displays the Broads registration number. If you haven't already done so, trying ringing the tolls office of the Broads Authority and they'll be able to give you a run down of what history they have of her. Very helpful people.

No big deal there. The last time I changed a name, they did it for me over the phone. Took all of five minutes.
