Hello Keith,
That is a lot of gripfast bronze nails, it really takes me back. Did you have someone under the hull holding a lump hammer whilst you were doing the nailing?

Yes I am going to fit it out, two bunks, toilet, sink and stove. Plans have an aft cockpit but going to have a forward with sliding roof for more space. Problem here is can only work on her for 6 months of the year due to the high humidity. They are all screws not gripfast nails used.Next installment is after painting how to turn it over. Crane I think.

60 HP 4 stroke Mercury Outboard, min size to handle the huge tides up here.

Here we are mid september and the hull is painted but befor I could turn it over need a trailer, New one was over $8000 so that was out. Found an old rusty one, made for an aluminium boat. Completely restored it with 6 new cross members, 75x50x4mm, original had 2 only 50x50. Put on keel rollers, new disks brakes, rollers, U-Bolts. All up cost $2000. Finished it today Sunday, just in time as crane booked for tomorrow pm, to lift the hull on. So keep tuned next week to see it on the trailer. Then I can start the superstructure.

Quite a big project, this is one of those threads that many of us want to see the next stage.
Keep posting the pictures, these are very interesting.
On the issue of turning her over, an alternative would have been to put a scaffold pole front to back on the centre of gravity, like a pig roast, jack up the pole, high enough and rotate it.
Don't know if this would have worked or not, or what stress it would put on the hull.
You could then slide the trailer under.

Back to the drawing board. Crane arrived but there is not enough room under the shade structure for the jib to lift with the length of the straps. So have to make a timber frame so the the lifting straps are spread apart approx 4M and that they wont slip along the hull. That will give 300mm lift only then out into the street to turn it over on the lawn opposite.
