Thanks Gary,Maybe down this week sometime,Been very busy lately as we just Re;located to the Norfolk from North West.Have you seen the other cruiser sunk there yet,That 3 now i see,Glad Moorings are reasonable as all are really going silly now with the prices for lots of people who love boats.

I Have a real good mooring on Hardley,For Mermaid Ranger as you see on my pic,Work on her was slow as we were commuting every few weeks for a week or so at a time to work on her,We took top off as it was rotten with several layers of decking etc,I think weight now reduce by a good ton or so as when we had her lifted once at st olarves she weighed over 7and a half ton.

the BA and staff at beauchamp arms will attempt to raise T711 friday morning at 8 am , they have borrowed my big bilgepump (3500 gallons an hour) and BA will have pumps with them, lets hope she floats, atm its unclear wether BA will take the boat with them and be scrapped or hopefully it'll be left at pub then transported to rays brothers slip in reedham as some fool has said he'll have it.if i doesnt come up tomorrow then i'll try and get bigger pumps for an attempt sunday. if we get her we'll be needing a tow to reedham if anyone fancies the job.

Hello Gary, I see that you turned Caravelle around some time last week, we noticed that it had changed from when we left Brundall to our return on the 19th June. As everyone says pity about the other boat, I hope you and BA get a result. Regards Alan Hood Ranworth Breeze

T711 is now up and in the hands of BA . yes i turned caravelle around so i could clean and survey starbord side. i gave portside a quick lick of paint to stop water getting into the open wood. so hopefully she doesn't look to bad from the water anymore . had a really busy day wednesday took all old wiring ,clips ect from engine room , almost finished fitting new diesel tank in a new position and moved pipework and filters, will plumb it in and start on the re-wire saturday afternoon. will take some pics too .

T711 had started to leak fuel into the river, we placed a boom around it,unfortunately because of its position the booms weren't very successful. She couldn't be left because of the potential pollution problems. This morning, on a very low tide she was raised, we then decided to remove her from the water as she was still taking on water. We took her in tow, with the pumps still running to the dockyard where she was lifted out. The owner has a nasty shook coming, because we haven't been able to contact him.
