I'll try adding the photo upside down to start with! Well........I had high hopes of seeing Caravelle nearing completion when we were down there last week despite Gary not having posted on here for over a year now. So I have to say how disappointed I was to see this Anyone know Gary who could update us as to his wellbeing? The older I get... The better I was....!! Previous post deleted as requested, Bill.

Would have loved to see her out on the river but by the looks of it I doubt it will be soon, like Bill I hope everything is ok.

‘Evening, folks .... Many will no doubt recall back in April 2012 that Forum members pooled resources and together successfully raised the Caravelle 3 - which had sunk by the Beauchamp Arms during very bad weather. The then owner ( NBF member ‘ade’ ) reluctantly decided to give up ownership for a number of reasons - his own bad health being a prime concern at the time. Ownership passed to another Forum member ( gary01 ), who began this thread. Unfortunately his last post / update on the restoration was in May 2014, and searches to-date only indicate that S622 has not been registered since that year. I have just been contacted by ‘ade’ after a considerable time lapse and he wonders if anyone can throw any light on what has happened since and / or where the boat might be lying now etc. Any info therefore would be gratefully received. His health has improved somewhat - to the extent that he is re-considering the possibility of boat ownership once more, and in that context I can but wish him well. Steve.
Steve & Maggie Not quite an ancient mariner ...... though some say he was at sea before Pontius was a pilate !

My link should open a previous post of gary01, in which he put a link to his FB page. Click on HIS link, then go to his timeline on the FB page that opens.
