Does anyone happen to have the contact details of who to speak to about getting onto the waiting list for a mooring at Rockland St Mary? Also does anyone know of any other nice (cheapish) moorings in the same vicinity? At the moment we're in Stalham, but looking to find a mooring closer to home!

Regards, Nick

As far as I am aware, all of the moorings prior to the Staithe are private 'end of garden' moorings.

All the moorings at the end are public BA 24hr moorings

A member on here "loadermuck" owns some moorings at Rockland, "end of garden" and was advertising a while ago, may be worth contacting him. See link

Hi. You could try the moorings on the main river at Buckenham, 1 mile dowstream. Cheap but exposed to the wash of the Brundall Private Motorboat posse. pm me if you are interested. (it is where I keep myboat and there are spare moorings)

Hello Nick,

Welcome to the forum, I hope you can find a mooring there, but if you do plenty of fenders are required it is very tight getting up to the staithe on that narrow stretch of river.

I have to admit it is a nice spot.

Regards
Alan

Not all the moorings are on Boat dyke. I notice that there is a tiny little marina at the top of the dyke. Not sure who manages those moorings.  Question

Kindest regards, Sam

Hi, we're looking for somewhere cheap to moor our 24ft boat? Do you know of anything cheapish currently available in the Rockalnd, Hardley, Lagley or Loddon area? Hayley
