Andrew

Welcome to our happy band. If you are on the North rivers it is hard to beat the New Inn at Horning, give them a ring earlier in the day to book a mooring, Gus will look after you.

South rivers above Beccles bridge the Waveney Hotel is great, if you cannot get under the bidge with the boat moor at Beccles Yatcht Station it's only a short walk

Good times be with you!!!!

Good Evening Andrew and welcome to the 'looney place'!!

Ranoe has given you a good one to start by suggesting the New Inn at Horning.

May I also recommend:

1. Bridge Inn at Acle Bridge; see  http://www.maypolehotels.com/bridgeinn/index.html
The Bridge Inn normally charge £4 for overnight mooring but they have a special offer 'free' to Forum Members.

2. Sutton Hotel, Sutton Staithe

Above assuming you will be in the North Broads.

Hope you have a good one,
Tom

well we are fans of Ye Olde Saddlery, Neatishead, not cheap but very, very good. Sadly only open Thurs to Sun at pres tho.

White Horse (?) Upton is a fave too, "proper chips" but check if they are doing food... very limited mooring space.

Have sharp knife and can burn water

Hi Andrew and welcome. Lyns and I really like to stop off at The Wayford Bridge Hotel (manager reminds us of Tim Vine, a little). Really nice food and drink and really warm welcome.

However, there are loads of really nice places to stop, take a look at the Pub Guide Link at the bottom of the forum pages for more information.

Hope you enjoy you visit to the Broads and return many times in the future.
