Ah, Young Luke, Has Dad taken you home now? Or are you still around in Norfolk? Glad you enjoyed it, hope you didnt have too much water in the tent last night. Oh, and I wont say what happened on Friday with you trying to tie a knot

got home middle of this afternoon after an uneventful drive home. It was great to meet up with everyone - renewing some old aquaintances and putting some faces to names for the first time. A big hats off - and thank you to everyone involved in organising the event. It all went like clockwork - due I'm sure to a lot of hard work. Finally a thank you to Rod and the crew of Sally B for repatriating us to terra firma this morning and sending us on our way with a cuppa - most welcome. I hope everyone else heading home has arrived safely and you lucky people who are staying out on the river this week I hope the weather picks up and you all have a great time.

Perry, I popped me head into Joshua on the way back to the staithe and yes, Grumps was flat on his back. He had injured it on Friday night and although he had shown his face did say he werent right (we all know that anyway). Saw him again on Sunday, when I went down to pick up my party tent and as soon as I mentioned we had better pop into The Maltsters he was up on his feet and running. Think it was down to his old friend "Stella" that most people didnt get to see him.
