Who is Minty, a relative? Where does she reside I think she has a birthday soon but no info. Younger members here might want to send a card Bill...(The Ancient Mardler)

Minty's my niece. She's my sister's (Millicent) daughter. Yes, she is having a birthday in May and I'm so excited! Details of her birthday party are on the BeWILDerwood website.[url=http://www.bewilderwood.co.uk/events-bewilderwood.aspx] We'll be encouraging people to come in fancy dress and there'll be lots of party games (all at no extra cost to the normal entry price). You're more than welcome to send Minty a birthday card - I'm sure she'd be delighted! I have my tiara at the ready! Mildred x

Hi All Went to Bewilderwood a few weeks ago with 4 children (4,4,6,and 7) and 3 big children, much improved on last year although will say to take a picnic as food is really expensive, not really very imaginative and you have to queue for ages. Apart from that we had a great time, much more for the 4 year olds to do this time as there are toddlerwood areas all over now, they were braver than us on the bigger slides! Although we did have a laugh on the zip wires! Would definitely recommend as a good day out as long as the weather is dry!

We are going on holiday next week and we are planning on visiting Bewilderwood. Only think is that I have broke my foot yesterday and now have a pot and crutches to contend with. Am I going to be able to get around Bewilderwood okay, or is it best that my family visit without me?

Sorry to hear about your foot Bobbie, I damaged my ankle yesterday so i know how you feel You might struggle at Bewilderwood as there are some decent climbs and steep slides, also it depends how you are geting there, we usually moor our boat at Horning and walk up which takes about 20 mins but would take me an hour now with this brace on me foot But if you can get there its well worth it for the kids cheers Andy
IT WAS tied up here when we left it

Quick question... boy with broken arm ... worth going or not?
Fell overboard? Let's just wait here, the tide will bring him back in.

Thanks Andyfish for your reply. I didn't see it before we went. I actually ended up going, but we had borrowed a wheelchair for me. It was a bit hard going in the wheelchair as it's gravel and not smooth and they nearly let me go going down the hills. lol. Well worth a visit, even though our visit ended up with a trip to A&E as my daughter fell and banged her head on one of the walkways. She's okay and was just a precaution. We'd go again, and even my 50 year old Mom enjoyed her self going down the slides. I'm not sure I would bother going if your son has a broken arm, as it's all climbing type of stuff and wouldn't be easy for him to do.
