I feel cleverer setting these quizes rather than trying to answer them...
So here's another twist on the theme, an early morning view of Horsey Staithe, with 6 digital alterations.
No local knowledge required, and only one picture, as five of them are optically impossible, and the sixth (for the boaters), is a bad mistake....

Hey you're good at these Paul, here goes:

1) quant pole on yacht front left has 2 flanges, the reflection only one

2) the red yacht has a brace in the rigging, its reflection does (I reached the end of my technical terms with quant!)

3) The mill has lost a window

4) The yacht on the right has lost a fender

5) the orange boat far right has lost the windows in its canopy's reflection

6) this boat also has the navigation light of the wrong colour

Hi Craig,
You've made me see the shortcomings of this single picture technique. I agree with your spotting of some of the differences in the reflections, but it's just a quirk of the light. Some of the ones you have spotted are not the result of my digital alterations, as you'll see when I upload the original photo.
If it's any consolation, you have spotted much finer details than my digital edits..

1) quant pole on yacht front left has 2 flanges, the reflection only one  (No, not one of my edits).

2) the red yacht has a brace in the rigging, its reflection does (I reached the end of my technical terms with quant!)  (No, I agree the crosstrees are much less visible in the reflection, but not because of me !)

3) The mill has lost a window  (Yup, in the reflection, behind the sail, but erased from the mill itself)

4) The yacht on the right has lost a fender (ah, two of them have !)

5) the orange boat far right has lost the windows in its canopy's reflection  (no, not me, just a dull reflection).

6) this boat also has the navigation light of the wrong colour   (yes, that's my 'boaty' alteration.)

So of the 6 (admittedly, potential), mistakes you have spotted, only 3 were alterations by me.  So there's another fender (or it's reflection) missing, but trust me, the remaining two are significant alterations, not requiring local knowledge or any awareness of boating regulations....

As someone asked on this board, (sorry, shocking memory, I think it was Craig), I have now put some of my puzzles on Shorebase, to act on a sort of 'archive' basis. I've linked that page back to this board, as this is undeniably a wider source of such material.
I hope to continue testing out any new ones here first, as I can get some idea of how difficult they are by whether you good people take 5 or 10 minutes to get them !
(I've disabled the answer to this one Shorebase, until the last two edits are found !)

These spot the difference quizzes are getting very hard on my eyes.

The windmills top right sail has been shortened in it's reflection.

The second cruiser behind the yachts on the right has a reflection of a fender but not one on the boat.

Is that two to go now?

Now when I shut my eyes all I see is boats, I need to lie down!

The only thing that looks amiss too me, is the yacht on the left has no Reg No & toll/licence…..But I don’t think that’s the answer. You’re right it’s a lot easier setting them, than spotting them.
