I rarely get the chance to get in first, before anyone else does... I reckon you are close to Womack Water, next to that island.. can't remember its name !

Tuh! And I thought he was taking a picture of me. Fortunatly, the camera was stowed later, when we lowered sail. It was a bit of a frantic affair, with me wanting to be at both ends of the boat at the same time. In my haste, I tucked the mudweight on the foredeck, close to the mast and trotted back to take the tiller. Shortly after, I was on the roof, stowing the sail. I did a check around, to make sure that we were on course, and noticed the cruiser "Woodwose" passing. Shortly after that, I was back in the well at the tiller. Something was wrong. We were not making good progress. I did a quick check round, and found that the mudweight was no longer on board (and that it had taken out a chunk of toe-rail on its journey off the boat.) As I hauled it in, I felt grateful for the slight anonimity that I cling to here... thankful that I would not arrive home to see a post saying, "... and as I cruised onto Barton Broad, I saw PizzaLover towing a mudweight."
