Hello! Following on from the hijacked thread (sorry!) that started off about hiring Prisma, we got talking about a number of Thames yards that run Norfolk build boats. As such, I have scanned the Abingdon Boat Centre brochure in, from sometime in the '80, and also a couple of holiday snaps from Thames holidays using Norfolk built (Bounty) boats. Best wishes, James.

Finally, another Thames boat we hired, an old Bounty 27 - even then she was battered and scruffy!! Best wishes, James.

Evenin James As I recall Abingdon had two of these craft. The second one (one now being 'Jenelle') I believe to be running on hire from Cotswold Boat Hire http://www.cotswoldboat.co.uk/avalon.htm although the photo isn't very clear, and seems to have stretched sideways she was certainly cream when I saw her a few years ago - not sure why I didn't get a picture at the time - most unusual!
