Just thought I'd update you all on my propeller problem.

Got a call from Sonny at Boulter this afternoon. My missing propeller turned out to be a clump of hessian sacking which smothered the prop, thus giving me no whizzzz.

When the boat went in I also asked for the stern gland to be re-packed as the boat was going to be hauled out anyway, couple that with a tow back from Wroxham and the bill came to £250. First class Smile

So alls well that ends well Smile

Regards

Paul

I believe Boulter’s do a breakdown insurance cover:  £99 for 4 breakdowns per year callout/recovery   (like the AA)  you just pay for parts.
