Hi Everyone

Although I don't post, I have spent weeks reading the entries on this site and feel as though I know you all, (it's a very addictive site!)  My husband and me are hire boat users and I guess just "learners" compared to most of you guys as we only found the joys of the Broads 6 years ago, and as we live in the West Country, can only afford to get on the Broads for two weeks a year, (2 x 1 week).  I am really excited because the first of such weeks is starting on 22 April, which means I will have my birthday (21 again!!!) on board on the 25th.  Will anyone else be about that week?

Hi Sandie,

We are about that week, but not afloat. We'll be in a cottage at Wayford Bridge, although we will be sailing atleast one day and taking a dayboat out at least one other. We'll also be canoeing and cycling.

If you look in the links at the bottom you'll see the holiday calendar. Doesn't look like anyone else out except at the weekend ATM, but why not add yourself.

PM me if you're going to be anywhere near our patch and want to meet up.

BTW, what part of the West Country? I have fond memories of my school days near Lyme Regis and especially of sailing in Lyme Bay.

Hi Robin

Thanks for your reply.  We'll be on the Northern Broads that week starting at Potter.  We live in Somerset, but only about an hour or so away from Lyme.

Will speak with t'other half and PM you nearer the time about meeting up.

Hi Jim and Sue and Bob and Sue

Thanks for replying.  Will loook out for the paint splashed man as we go past Wayford Bridge, and also for Watersnail 2.  Are you all boat owners?  I'm really envious.

We will be on a Herbert Woods craft, Gleaming Light.  We hired this one last year and were really impressed  because it had just been re-furbished.

Will look out for you all, will print off a copy of the Forum logo and display on board.

See ya!
