Why do I spend so much of my time browsing this site?
Because, as has been said many times before, it is so friendly, informative and most of all what I would call “easy going”. Very often there are grammar errors, spelling errors, typo’s (of which I could have been guilty of many times), for typing with one finger, and looking for each letter, your brain very often is way ahead of your hand! ALL OF THIS DOESN’T MATTER A GREAT DEAL, as long as you can get your message across. That is the important thing! If a serious topic gradually changes to a frivolous one, (often because of a quip made during a reply), that is OK by me, after all, that is the sort of thing that makes this site so friendly.
Yes, we all appreciate the expert knowledge and advice, given on this site, as long as we know what the poster (If that’s the right word) means, and long may it continue.

Brows the Forum.
Be informed.
Be entertained.
Be happy. (And no, I’m not related to the site administrator).   Ron

Nicely put, Ron...

If there are indeed sad, anal-retentive, pedants out there who want to criticise the odd grammatical faux pas or typo then so be it...they have obviously and massively missed the whole point of this site!

Then again, criticism of typo's, when made in jest, can be funny.

Bill.

Relax and enjoy.

Indeed...apologies...I should have made that qualification in my post. I was referring to the schoolteacher types who seem to love nothing more than to correct others.

Remember walking home from the park hand in hand with the boy next door, he was 11 and i was 10, and my mum had a dickyfit!
she thought it was disgusting at our age, and promptly shewed him home, hoping non of the local gossips had seen us! Evil Grin  Gasp  Blush
