I'm back on the Broads on the 24th of this month for a week and will be trying (phone signal/wifi permitting) to upload my travels onto Instagram and Twitter.

If anyone uses these, give me a follow and hopefully I'll post some photos of interest!

Does anyone else use Social Media, and if so do you use it to blog your Broads adventures?

I only ever use two knots.

Social Media fan? Tweet me @TommyJacko or follow me on Instagram, @TommyJacko

I use Facebook a lot, just so friends and family, if they so desire, can see what we are up to.

I also have a Twitter account, but I've never really got into that.

I much prefer the Facebook format.

If you want good mobile internet, get yourself a 3 PAYG MiFi unit - that seems to have the best overall coverage in my opinion.

I use Twitter @ Broadslive and of course You Tube

I am not really 'into' Social Media I pop in and out and update as and when as a way to inform people a new video is up or share a photo or a location - if it is Broads realted.  Even then however I often forget!

When on the Broads I use Three as my preferred mobile network with my trusty Huawei E586 MiFi unit providing on board WiFi.  It appears to be the latest 'thing' where boatyards are beginning to trial similar set ups for their boats but going about it in slightly different ways.  I predict by 2016 it will be as widespread on new boats as bow thrusters are today.
