I need the members help.  When we are in the Broads next year, Nita and I would like to make a short trip to France, since neither of us has ever been.  And need to know the closest exit point from the Broads and the least expensive.  Could you please try to direct us to a route that would be economical and fairly easy to get to from there.  Thanks.

I would hazzard a guess at the train, Norwich to London cross London on the Undergound and pick up the Eurostar, bit late for me to make enquiries tonight but will look into it fo you if you would like me to.

The other option would be Norwich to Stanstead Airport by train or bus and use one of the cheap flights to Paris, we did this a few years ago, quick and easy, the flight was around £90.00 each return. We did it on the spur of the moment on an Easter weekend and the most expensive bit was the Hotel in Paris as every where was booked up and we had to take a 5 star hotel at £150.00 a night!!

Remember we live just a few minutes out of Norwich so know the area well and if you need a lift just call  Smile

Now if you fancy a trip to Amsterdam, then a direct flight from Norwich airport at around £59.00 (special offers price) is very quick and easy. Amsterdam is a great place to visit, done it a few times.

Kind regards, John.

Hi Bonnie, please note the small print no hire yachts below Haven Bridge or through Mutford lock. There are no exits from the boats  Evil Grin
