Wayford Bridge is also good and you can paddle up the North Walsham and Dilham Canal.

It's OK, I found the internet site : open canoes.

This looks great, my wife has fancied trying on of these for ages, we may well try next week.

Thanks.

Thanks Geoff.

We've just come back from 10 days on the Broads and last week decided to give this a try, on your recommendation, and absolutely loved it.

It was a sunny afternoon and we booked three hours from Sutton Staithe and got as far as Weyford bridge ( another good rental spot ) ,had ice creams and then headed back. Having only previously rowed ( as opposed to paddled ) I was amazed at the progress we could make despite the hindrance of a six year old in the centre seat paddling at random, generally in the wrong direction..... Smile

We are now quite seriously thinking of purchasing one so I would recommend this to anybody who has yet to try it.

Very best,

Michael.

Hi,

Sutton Staithe are withdrawing from the Canoe rental business Frown   , a shame but we have managed to secure one of the ex-rental canoes at a very fair price from the boat yard.

Took it out over the weekend around Horning and loved every minute ( especially while the cruiser is drying out on hard standing ).

So, if anybody spots a red Canadian Canoe around Horning over the winter, give us a wave, it'll probably be me. Smile

Cheers.

Roya, sorry, missed your response to this.

Obviously a little late now - no, I'm not in Norfolk this weekend. By the look of our schedule, unlikey to be before Christmas, but If I am I know I'm sure to find you with in a stella can's throw of the Maltsters  Playful Wink

Cheers
