can anyone tell me a place on The Broads where I can get some internet access? Preferably somewhere that will let me transfer files from my digital video camera to their machine and ftp it up to my server?

Loddon Library odd hours but not sure if you can upload. Knowing some of the kids round here they might have put a block on to prevent the introduction of undesired software.

Well you said, "Aim for the green post!" Bill...

They are as rear as rocking horse bits I,m sorry to say.

If it is still pictures and you wanted to transfere them to CD from a camera, then Roys of Wroxham can do it I belive.
They can certainly print them for you.

Thanks, transfer to cd would be just as good. I might need to free up space on my 512mb sd card.

I wish I could be, but I won't pick up our boat until 5pm. Thanks very much for the kind offer though. Also, I will have an empty card at the beginning of the week and probably won't need to free up any space until Wednesday or Thursday. It will be movie files I need to transfer.

Just call me Nelson Smile

Wroxham Library has computers with internet access. Don't know about the camera card. You could phone them and ask.

The library is on the Norwich of the bridge on the right hand side.

IIRC, Morrisons have a Film shop in which you can transfer to CD. It means mooring up in the centre(ish) of Norwich but if you happen to be passing.... (it's my favourite petrol stop because they don't appear to have any problem with me simply filling my tank rather than using a green container unlike certain other Garages)

We are looking into the possibility of installing a wireless hotspot at Waveney River Centre, enabling anyone with a wireless card in their computer to access the internet, mail, etc, direct from their boat.

Would this provide a useful service? Or would there be no demand? I would be interested in any feedback.

All comments gratefully received.

Regards to all
