Some time ago, someone posted a link to a page showing hire yard burgees from the 60s/70s. I've tried the search facility but no luck, can anybody help me find it.

Hi

If you have a look under the Miscellaneous section of my Paper & Ephemera page, you will find some there.

Carol thanks for the Link, it didn't answer my question exactly but did put another little piece in the picture. I friend of mines mother and Father ran a couple of boatyrds back (i think ) in the 60's Fencraft at Brundall and L.L. Cruisers (Wroxham) at Wroxham. It is Andrews 50th Birthday coming up and I was trying to find the yards Burgees so I could have some made for him to fly on his boats. On your site there is an Ad for L.L but no flag unfortunately. On this site there was a more comprehensive list of the yards with their flags (or a least I think it was). Any help would be appreciated.

Steve it was a similar thing but had many more yards on. I know it had martham on so can't be exactly that one.

Thanks

Dave

What a lovely idea for a pressie!

I have had a search, but cannot find colour illustrations for either burgee .... however, I do have B&W illustrations of the designs if no one else can help. Maybe someone will be able to remember what the colour schemes were?
