hi all,
"More than 50 classic Broads yachts battled to fill their sails with summer breezes during a competition which evoked the heyday of big-prize racing along the River Yare."

Battled? not much battling early on, I was out on the water early heading to Rockland to fish, most of the Yachts were totally imobile in fact I thought they were moored with the sails up. The race was shortened to Hardly Dyke but as a race it was in the early stages at least, a joke.
The wind did pick up later but too late to save the day.

In those conditions the battling can be even more intense as we struggle to get movement from the slightest puff of wind. It can be a lot more mentally taxing than sailing in a blow!
