Lowestoft Boat Show 2005,  hi, did anyone out there go to this years show? what did you think, l thought it was brilliant, well organised with lots to see and do, I understand it's here to stay and WILL be bigger next year with the added attraction of a BOAT JUMBLE and TRY-A-BOAT, have a look at the website at www.lowestoftboatshow.co.uk and look out for the next issue of Norfolk Afloat who are running a review of the show. Next years dates are 13/14th May 2006. Hailed as THE PREMIER BOAT SHOW OF THE EAST COAST, this is the one to visit or represent your company at. Great range of boats on the pontoons, plus MTB102, HMS Raider, ex RAF Pinnace, HM Customs RIB and of course the 'Oosterschelde' with a good mixture of all marine companies inside and out. What do you think about the proposed Norfolk Broads Boat Show which was planned for this year but cancelled? l understand it is now planned for next year, but will the region support two Boat Shows? l know exhibitors and visitors at Lowestoft Boat Show come from all over the country. A lot of people are fed up with the escalating costs of attending London Boat Show and Southampton, Lowestoft Boat Show is definately the way forward.

Didn't get to see the show unfortunately...would have like to though. Had a look at the new marina at Lowestoft earlier this year...looking good...very well sorted. Shame I haven't got the bottle to take my boat past Mutford Lock!  Blush

The food in the bar at the marina is quite good, I some times go in at lunch time for a meal and a pint. It's all home cooked and nice and fresh.

Hi Sailor 1 I don't suppose you had anything to do with the organisation of the Lowestoft Show show did you? I might have an interest in exhibiting an inland waterways boat there next year.
