We had dinner at the New Inn on Saturday night and we couldn't fault it. Best meal we've had on the broads for a very long time - lovely location, good service, very well kept beer (Adnams) and excellent food.
We will definitely be back again over the winter - it's a nice spot for fishing and there's an electricty point at the 24hr moorings, which is an added bonus. Would say that it's probably best to book an evening meal as they seem to be very busy and were full the night we went. And it passed the ship's cat test too - Bonny wolfed down the bits of rabbit and lamb that we saved for him from dinner!

Cat logic: I once saw a spider go under this mat, ergo there is always a spider under it so I will sit and watch it all day every day.

It's got some lovely moorings there as well.  Our daughter insists we go there each time we visit the Broads, not for the pub or its food though.  She just like the interactive info board that talks to her.

They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.

We were there on Sunday afternoon.  My depth sounder gave me a little cause for concern and we certainly churned up some muck as we manoevered to moor but it was a nice place.  Stopped into the pub for a pint and then headed off.

The one downside is the narrowness of the approaching dyke.  We encountered no less than four cruisers as we attempted to get up the dyke back to Rockland Broad, one of them being a large Broom.  Breathe in everyone!  Scared
