I popped in here late this afternoon just to check the place out.

Landlord was very welcoming and knows his stuff re keeping real ale: Adnams Broadside was as good as it gets.

Decor is reasonably modern but not excessively so and the menu looks good. Real fire in the bar and eating area.

A larger bar will be opened soon.

This has the makings of a very good destination, especially if on the river, so give it a try.

Took a nice walk here from PH about 2 years back when Ian and Lesley(?) were in residence. Last time I passed in the car, late last year, the pub was closed. Worth another walk? Roll on the summer.

Regards, Ray.

I'm feeling my age. Anyone got
a DeLorean, a flux capacitor,
and a tin of plutonium?

Definitely worth a look, especially for the real ale drinker.
