In the last year several Oulton Broad pubs and eateries have had small fortunes spent on them. Some Broads pubs make good money, why not one at Potter?

I agree with Robin, Broads Haven needs gutting.

when my fiance and i went in there last year there was a lock on the "outside!" of the ladies toilets??!!!!
Shocking place, such a shame, in such a great location.
My fiance won't even go back to the villagae let alone the pub he was so horrified!
Surely the council could enforce a health enforcement on the building?

Valuable piece of Riverside real estate, makes you wonder if the current owners really want it to succeed as a pub. Most famous bridge in Britain? don't make me larf!

Have just been into the Broadshaven for a Saturday lunch, which is now under new management. It has had quite a lot of decoration and alterations being done and this is still ongoing.  We went into the bar and restaurant which are now spotless.  The front toilets are in the process of a major refit and the back toilets have been redecorated .  All of the 'odours' from the past have been eliminated.  We had a snack which was well presented and was piping hot. I would say don't 'write it off' and give the new management a chance.  Looking good.

Kind Regards
Willow

The question on my lips is, "Is it opening time, yet?". Playful

If it's neither here, nor there,
then where is it?

my mates got a 32 tonne ex Royal Engineers bulldozer, perhaps it could get up close and personal!

I wish the new leaseholders well, but they are up against the age old problem, even well kept, clean and redecorated the place just doesn't look appealing.
