Hi I bought astral light 3years ago after it had been laid from 2005 I  very neglected condition, and most of the superstructure had to have extensive repairs and replacement the decks were removed completely and renewed with 1088 marine ply 18mm thick extra 3x2" complete with all deck support beams. Needless to say most of the inside had been affected, but I have saved a lot of it, the sliding roof had to go though as it was that I though had caused a lot of the problems to start with plus I wanted a nice warm diesel stove, to cope with the british weather yes I like holiday cruising all year round. I have just completed a test cruise taking in the rivers Hull/ Humber/Trent /Ouse and Witham my sat nav tells me I did 380 miles in 23 days of excellent weather and 1 day of rain only, I think I have tested her well. I am going out on Tuesday for 2 weeks after that I will be returning to my berth on the river hull close to my home.it feels good to say now tested I can do some serious cruising next year
