In my opinion an ineffectual, weak chairman, his deselection is to be welcomed, at least by me.

Mr Proctor, leader of Norfolk County Council said, ”The brief of the new member I appoint will be to pursue my ambitions to work better with both the authority and its member bodies, who will play a key role in its success.”

I wonder, could that be read as a suggestion that Mr Thirtle hadn’t been fulfilling that brief. Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

I suppose it’s too early to hope that a wind of change is starting to blow through the corridors of Yare House.

"..for the avoidance of any doubt, the broads are not legally a national park and do not come under the national park legislation, and nor will they."

Perhaps, Mr Mardler, you could tell us who the new member is please.

Here's a surprise, I hear that the illustrious James Knight is back as an Authority member. I doubt that JP is best pleased.
