Welcome to the forum. I believe Horning Sailing Club has moorings available, although they are on the other side of the river, so you'll need a dinghy (which can be kept on the HSC site). They do have a club dinghy you can use, but, if someone gets there first, you may have to wait a while.

One of our members, Sheque1, is an HSC member and also a Landrover addict.

You're right I am Paladine,
I have A 1984 Landrover 110,
with:
galvanised chassis,
stainless exhaust,
200TDI,
Disco transfer box,
Galvanised frame doors.
and a limited slip diff in the back axle.
Now looking at fitting a front tow bar and winch to help with launching and recovering boats..

As for Military Landys, It was mostly 109 soft tops when I was in the RAF, but I did have Landrover Snowplough and landrover fire engine on the Military licence both of which I had cause to use at several times at various bases..

There are two or three other real landrovers owned by those in the sailing club,(including a light weight) Along with those who have those modern things that won't work without electrickery..

Oh there should be 3 club dinghies, two fairly tippy walker bays
and the new stable grey plastic one everyone choses first..
