Hiring a large boat from Herbert Woods so cant go under the old bridge at Potter Heigham.  Will I still be able to get to Wroxham via new bridge or am I going to be very limited on routes I can take.  The maps only show a limited route via the new bridge.
Any advice would be appreciated
Thank you in advance.

Hi, Biggles36, and welcome to the Forum  Smile .

If you could provide more details of the actual craft you'll be hiring, I feel sure someone will be able to assist with the advice you're seeking.

Hi

Both bridges are to the left of HW basin. To get to Wroxham and the rest of the Broads you turn right out of the HW basin

Have fun

Graham .

Hi there ,
As mentioned , when you come out of Herbert woods basin , you turn right onto the river thurne , follow it down till you meet the river bure , again turn right follow the river along to wroxham , note there river signs at the ends of these rivers pointing out / directing which to go to villages etc ,

Hi again

Just an idea but Google maps satellite view shows clearly the layout at Potter Heigham. HW boats come out of the basin clearly visible on Google.

It will also help give you an idea of your route through to  Wroxham.

Enjoy yourselves

Graham
