Hi Everyone,
I've been watching rightmove over the past 12 months for the riverside bungalows coming up for sale and over the past few days quite a few have come onto the market. Is this a usual winter occurrence or are people selling up for a reason?

Matt, I think you could guess until the cows come home as to why this year has already been a record year for Thurne riverside  bungalow sales.  It started really strong at the start of the season and is ending just as strong.  The good news is that they are still selling really fast at some incredible prices.  Many have sold before even coming to market. Lots of choice for the buyers, too, when it comes to styles and location.
Historically, the market has been very strong around Easter and Whit and then, again, in October, November.  This constant change-over produces a really exciting community mix. We have owned ours for almost thirty years and have enjoyed every single one of them.

Fishers Haven is just coming on the market, I don't mind telling you the reason: our children could use the money, deposit for houses.
The riverbank is a magical place with a fascinating mixed community, ExPilot and partner being a warm heart to it.

We love the Broads

I thought there were more showing for sale than usual. It does now make a bit more sense after fishershavens' comment.I guess a lot have been owned by the same families for many years and now all the kids have grown up etc. My relative has owned one since '64
