The word elsewhere on t'int'net is that it has been bought by the Broads Authority, and those renting moorings there have been given two weeks to leave (as from last Wednesday).

This is what John Packman had to say just 9 months ago http://the-norfolk-broads.co.uk/viewmessages.cfm?Forum=57&Topic=39581 . Maybe the negotiations for the Thurne Mouth pontoon mooring proposals have stalled.

Is this to be another training centre for BA staff or tourist information centre. I'm sure they won't run it as a shop. Change of use? Planning permission required!
Not heard anymore about the tour boat they've bought from City Boats for training purposes. The BA sure know how to spend it while the rest of us are trying to save it.

With the increase in tolls for privateers with large boats I'm sure they can afford it.

Maybe they will set up something at the location that will benefit the HBO's? Smile

It's item 33 on the agenda for the next Authority meeting on 28 July.

Is this by any chance the BAs innovative solution to the Thurne mouth boundary farm mooring issues along the lines of Southend and Luton airports both having the London tag .

Whatever ; can't see it as a bad thing though .
