I have finally managed to buy a boat, been 4 years since I sold my last one, but now I have an 18ft cabin sailer. Firstly I need to get the 2 stroke outboard serviced and am new to the southern broads, so not sure who to go to. I might have to buy a new 4 stroke, and again not sure where to go. The other thing I would like to tackle is the mast. At the moment it looks very difficult to lower. I know I'll not need to lower as often as I did up on the northern rivers, but would still like to make it smoother. Any recommendations for riggers or yard to fit new mast foot? Thank you.
