Agree with Sadie, around the £8k mark. Try Boulter’s in Horning and Sutton Staithe Boatyard for quotes.

Good luck, hope it works out!

Go  onto Sabena Marine, Wroxham and down load their price list.  You will probably get it done for about half that cost.  The people I know say the father & son team do a good job as well

Cheers

Aquaholics, as you must realise by now, the cost will run into thousands. Before you decide, may I suggest you get a number of quotes, as cheapest isn't necessarily best.

Try to find out exactly what work will be done. Will the existing paint be totally removed and the repaint done with two-pack? This will be the most expensive. Or will it just be sanded smooth and covered with one-pack? Cheapest, but not as long-lasting.

As I am sure you understand much of the cost comes from the need for proper preparation, so, you need to be think carefully about what you need to do.  Making  the hull sound and moisture proof is vital to maintaining the value of your investment.  Decks are probably the next most important especially for safety's sake cabin sides and roof more cosmetic.  The problem is that logically one would like to start at the top and work down so as not to muck up what you have already done.  If 8K is no problem there's no issue BUT if not and it's still the boat for you then I would be inclined to get the hull done professionally and perhaps start prepping the worse of the top yourself.  You might have a 'piebald' boat for a season but then most of the time you are inside looking out  Wink

As mentioned most of the work is in the prep,I think most quality jobe include the removal of the windows and deck fittings to acheive a top notch job

Talking to a friend whose reply was a straight forward job with sliding top off and windows in around £4k, however windows out and a proper job then could reach £8k, add in any repair work required if found and it becomes unknown. He did mention there is one DC30 for sale at the moment where the bill to repair and paint would cost a lot of money.
