Just ordered one of these for my office and workshop.
Was wondering if any one has ideas for the use onboard ?

Is it CE marked - no sign on the label may invalidate insurance and BSS without ?

There’s plenty about them on t’Internet. Some good, some bad.

Have been reading them Paliee.
Sound OK for the money paid.     Will wait and see when I get mine for the office / workshop.
My service for the Ebespacher this year was £229 + VAT.
So as the NEW cost of one of these is £177  a BIG saving - almost "throw away" replacement.

Can preheat the coolant of the engine to avoid wear
and tear of engine that started at low temperature;

I don't see how that can work from what I read. It's
a Air Heater isn't it? Sounds good for the price but is
it 'room sealed' for use on a boat though?

From reading the specification, I see that it is based on "volatile technology".

Sounds safe enough to me....

I've seen 3 of these Hong Kong imports working on boats and I have to say they seem to work very well. So far as complying with the BSS, ditch the plastic fuel line and filter and instead connect up with copper or ISO rated fuel line. Other than that they are pretty much a copy of a Webasto. If you are using one as a replacement for a Webo or Eber, you'll already have a pukka skin fitting for the exhaust.

The only possible issues I can see are:

1/ If it breaks you probably won't get spares.

2/ You may get stung for import duty at Customs.

3/ Lack of CE marking might invalidate insurance in the event that it causes a fire.

Very interesting.

Our Eber is currently working, but I've got a "parts"  one in the shed, out of action as the ECU (circuit board) is toast.

New ECU, £250 ish.

Complete knock off heater £180-ish.

Watching with interest, keep us informed!
