If you are talking about the new Broom Commander I don't know the airdraft but it won't fit under Potter Wroxham Beccles Bridges and it can't be used on the Ant or the Chet due to cruising restrictions.

Dave

if it is to be it is up to me.

But why build a boat with all those restrictions for use on the Broads.  It almost invites a certain kind of customer to try and beat all the odds.  Gasp

I’m not sure it was built with the Broads in mind Bill, the M.D. of Brooms took it to the Broom owners club meet at Beccles last year then I saw it was up for sale. It can only be booked through Brooms direct (not through Hoseasons) which I guess suggests they would still like to sell it. They now call it “The chairmans boat” I believe.

If it’s the Current Broom Commander available through Hoseasons, it’s basically the same as the Broom Captain that’s 8ft 6., we hired twice last year.  Both are based on the Broom 35 Coupe. Brooms web page gives 8ft 8 for the 35 coupe
