For those interested, the EA issued a press release earlier regarding the Coarse Fishing Consultation. The resulting decision is to retain the current close season:

WELL i fish and are pleased with the outcome but will the yards stop hirers putting fishing tackle on there boats in the close season.John & Di  Smile
