Anyone know of anyone selling a broads cruiser wanting to live on it and travel the broads or wanting long term chalet / bungalow rental on the river side on the broads

A welcome from me too. Depending on your budget, there are a couple of suitable candidates on this website.

I would have thought your widest option is to search all the numerous boat sales websites for the area. However, I assume that those businesses are unable to be open at the current time in the same way car dealerships are closed. You can do purchase, click and collect at some of the larger car dealerships but I don't imagine that would work for boats! As none of us are supposed to travel outside our town or village I can't see how you would be able to travel around the Broads looking at boats , be it private sales or brokerage.  However, as I haven't looked at boat sales specifically myself, somebody here may know more.

We always say find a mooring before buying a boat as you really need to have secured a spot before you buy. So, again I don't know where looking at mooring availability or visiting marinas would sit with the current lockdown. I'd have thought it wasn't possible.

Will be interested to hear other members thoughts, Karen

I should add that I am , as most folk are, fully aware that house moves and viewings can take place. So  your other option of a property tenancy is an easier on.

Good luck with your search, as and when it is possible.

Cheers, Karen
