I am getting full page ads appearing when I click on a thread/topic.Then I have to back the backpage the ad and start again to proceed. Is this engineered or a worm been planted on the site?

Yes I've had the same on iPhone and iPad but Mike isn't getting it on his laptop. I believe this is something called Google Vignette. I've already reported it to Richard so hopefully he or Gary can address this , but please be patient as Richard is working flat out at the moment provinding meals for NHS and other essential workers.

I've been getting it for a few days now using Safari in OSX.

I presumed Richard had done it to help fund the forum. If he hasn't perhaps it may be an idea for him to follow with relevant advertisers. It's no great hardship to have to go back one page to view the post.

Just tried Firefox on OSX and it isn't happening there.

No big deal but when working through numerous sites I use for business and pleasure on a limited timespan it is a slight pain in the rear. just annoying.

Happens to me on my samsung phone and on Ipad, has been happening for several weeks but strangely not every time. I too thought Richard must have okd it to boost revenue.I dont have a problem but if the Boss hasn't organised it, he should get onto someone for a cut.????

Dave

I don't seem to have this problem as,  I have to put a couple of scoops of coal into my phone so that I can get a head of steam up to enable my phone to work.  Does this mean that my phone is smarter than the modern ones?   Smile  Smile  Smile
