Hi

If you look on the boats of the Norfolk broads website you will find your boat and a brief history of the class.

No mention of the 3 musketeers though.

The author of that website sadly died last year so I am not sure if it is still being updated

Good luck

Graham

Hi and welcome to the forum. If you click on the link, you'll find a brief bit about the Aston 42. Athos is the second one on the list. Aston 42

I think there was more than 3 of them as a couple were also made for another boatyard.

Later on, 2 of them, I think, went into Richos fleet. At one time there were three listed as Monarch 1, 2 & 3. Could this have been a mix up with 3 x musketeers ? Maybe.

If your boat is/was Athos with the Broads reg number of M704, then it would seem it was built or first registered in 1980, as Aston Leo.

It was sold into private ownership 1995/96 and renamed "Misschien", then sold again 98/99 and named "Athos" . It appears to have left The Broads in or by 2006 as it was no longer registered after that year.

Think karen is on the right path,  although over the last few years Aston boats slowly was winding down the fleet , sure 2 may of gone to Sanderson marine at reedham,  but now seem to only have the one now ( sand cougar),i certainly do recall one in private ownership,  sure last seen at Loddon few years back at the old aston yard Loddon,  (princess cruisers )

We hired Aston Leo from Astons at Loddon  when it was new. It was a really nice boat. The only downside was that it was fitted with smoke detector alarms which kept going off.

Thank you for that I have traced it back from Norfolk to London then London to Chatham then to Faversham that where it’s been for 9 years I’ve only had it a week and will be bringing her back to the broads it’s got 2 broads number lol but I think the original one is m704
I was hoping to get a picture of the interior as I would like to put it back to original
Many thanks for your information
Thanks Dave
