purely as a matter of interest anyone know if Landamore's Vestella's coukld get through potter bridge. I guess that the Vesta with a beam of just under 10ft could. Mind you it was the 37ft version - Eclan later Snowgoose - that I used to adore! She was probably the most elegant Broads High Foredeck design ever. To have enough money to commission a GRP mould of that hull would be quite something
Granted, but, with high fore-decks and semi circular arches its not so much beam near the waterline that counts. I just was quietly wondering whether a modern build like the Vestas or the Martham boats as they used to be, would be a workable proposition. I suspect that at least one member here could provide a definitive answer
