Just come home after a great weeks holiday on the Broads.  For someone who is used to using a boat on the sea, I must say it was very different.  We picked our boat up from Richardson's  (Highland Gem)  and cruised the northern half of the Broads.  We managed to get through all the bridges and thoroughly enjoyed the friendliness we found wherever we went.  The only thing I could not understand was why did a lot of the other hirers  and day boaters have to tear around as if the world was coming to an end and they had to  rush around as fast as they could..  We so enjoyed our holiday that we have re-booked for two weeks next June on the same boat.  Once again thanks to every one for being nice to us.   Jason

One of life's mysteries. I've wondered about that for years! It's good to hear you had such a nice time.  Smile

I think we saw you and waved.  We did have a great time seeing as it is our first time on the broads.. As I am shortly to retire I will probably sell my boat down at Brighton Marina and will look to buy a boat up on the broads so that we can spend some leisure on the water without worrying about rough sea and tides.  The boat at Brighton is ok, but it is a working boat, so it will be nice  to get a boat that we can spend some quality time on starting next year.  Smile

Oh dear! Another one fallen hook, line and sinker for the delights of the Norfolk Broads. It happens to all of us, given enough exposure. Wink

Regards, Ray.

Whatever happens now, I'm blaming it on Brexit. Everyone else is!
