After buying and restoring astral light 3 years or so ago I planned her first trip away from the river hull since 2005.
Bea and I left Beverley  nr Hull on the !st August for our first long trip on her, We planned to go where the weather was good, which we achieved to a certain extent and took in goole/lincon/Boston/ Newark/ Nottingham /and back to  Goole and then Doncaster before returning to our home moorings and showing 500 miles on my potter.
26 days sunny in  and August and 17 days dry till September 24th when we cruised back down the Trent Humber and back up the river Hull on a lovely Sunday. astral light cruised well and past all my expectations. My wife Bea was at the helm 50% of the time and certainly loved visiting our friends from other AWCC boat clubs. All in all a Great result with no hiccups at all !!!!
