No doubt over time, many boaters and non-boaters alike will have met and / or corresponded with Craig, as well as referencing his excellent database. The latter being a marvellous resource, having been built up over many years.

Approximately two weeks ago he suffered a heart attack, and very sadly it was learnt that he passed away yesterday afternoon. Being a founding member and knowledgeable contributor of this Forum as well as a respected ecologist, it goes without saying he will be greatly missed.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family to whom we send sincerest condolences. R.I.P. Craig.

Steve.

I only met Craig once, but corresponded with him from time to time regarding his data base. What an outstanding and valuable  contribution he made to Broads history. Our thoughts are with his wife and family at this sad time.

So sad to hear about Craig's death. I never met him but did correspond with him occasionally with regard to his unique database.
My thoughts are with his family and friends and I hope they can eventually take some comfort from the thought that he had helped, and brought pleasure to, very many people, most of whom he had never met.

Very very sad news indeed, I meet and chatted to Graig many times over the years, such a nice chap. Being a keen photographer I also used to send him many photos of boat taken while I was out on the water.

He will be missed by many

Our thoughts are with his wife and family.

RIP Graig.

John.

Oh that is such sad news.    Our condolences go out to his family at this sad time.     We all owe such a debt to Craig because his web site is beyond useful to everyone who has ever purchased a boat on the Broads.  Such a wealth of information.   Thank you Craig and may you rest in peace.

Very sad news, he moored just round the corner from us. Really nice guy. I hope his database stays online as testiment to him and his love of boating.

Edited because my brain works faster than my fingers.

Very sad news

Condolences to Craig's family and friends

His database is a fantastic addition to the history of the broads and its boats and like many others is one of the first places I go when I want to find some history on a particular vessel
