Ate there last Friday. Both our meals were first class, served with a smile. Beer I had was Speckled Hen, as good as anywhere I've previously had it. It was a bit quiet, but I suppose BridgeStones has done for a lot of their custom.

Well it was worth a visit again, food was top notch! Had the steak and ale pie , vegetables were all fresh , missus had the lamb shank , son burger , big and thick lol , but was all spot on , definitely going back !

The falgate is sited on the flight path of a famous darts throw which is locally known as the "falgate 40"; I'm sure a regular will advise which permutation exactly constitutes the saying, I think it's 20 20 and off the board but it was often a point of laughter when someone fell victim to the curse of the 'fal'!
