" Which clearly isn't the case since they are still available. " Availability is not always the problem with procurement rules. Often you can only use certain suppliers who may not have what you need whilst other non usable suppliers do. I am not saying this is the case here, but it is a possibility.

Hello All. This is only my opinion and in no way tries to influence anybody else, here goes To attract people to The Broads even all that comment, on here and other sites even those without an engine, use modern equipment otherwise there would be no communication. So electricity is vital to the world and if a generation that has grown to use this environmentally friendly way of living and communicating then let them have it. I have moored next to an all electric boat with its generator running and for me that's not the way to supply the power noise and fumes. I can see why the BA changed the meters (plenty of re con BMC's or Ford Watermoters on the shelf but there comes a time when people unless eccentric restorers, (nothing wrong with that) fit a Nanni or it's equivalent.) I would have taken a step further than the BA has, and introduced more electric posts with the latest technical advances because the people that are going to use them are only a decade away. Who knows they might go home without being patronised, saying, "that BA do a wonderful job It's kept better than a National Park". After all word of mouth is your best friend. Regards Marge and Parge
