Approx 2 years ago you declared that the Broads would become a national park "For marketing purposes only".
What has changed in the last 2 years for you to abandon the "for marketing purposes only" part?
Your letters are signed on behalf of the BA, looking after the BNP. That is NOT for marketing purposes is it. There are other examples like the signs at the rail stations.
It has become an obsession with the BA, or at least some at the BA.

Yes, we have started using the term Broads National Park when referring to the Broads but this doesn’t represent a change in the status of the area and the Broads Authority will continue to be called the Broads Authority. We will have to disagree over what are “marketing purposes” as, while letters might not be obvious marketing tools they are an opportunity to promote the status of the Broads to key stakeholders. The train station signs are clearly marketing to visitors coming into the Broads.
The long legal challenge to the use of the term Broads National Park name provided clarity over the ability of the Authority to use the term for marketing purposes. We’ll continue to use the terms the Broads Authority, the Broads and Broads National Park as appropriate. So for example in legal documents such as leases and contracts the Authority will refer to the area as the Broads but in other material it will use the term Broads National Park.

Broads Bill 2009, you attempted to change the name to Broads National Park. This was swiftly removed when you were told it couldn't happen.
The Broads are more than a national park so why insist on the name?

Please see the rationale for the use of the term Broads National Park:

The Broads Authority has more powers and responsibilities than the National Park Authorities but the Broads has a similar status to that of a national park.
I think we all agree that the Broads is very special.

Similar is NOT the same. Therefore, it should NOT be called a national park.
Why the obsession? That is one constant question throughout this thread that you have failed to answer.
