Mmmm how representative are they? We did a dutch canal cruise 3 years ago for my 65th, we went through and stayed in Amsterdam twice during the course of the holiday and didnt witness anything like that. We visited at the height of Summer and the second visit to Amsterdam was over a weekend. Moral, dont believe anything you see on You Tube.

I wonder if out there in the ether there is a Dutch forum where someone is asking their fellow members if they have seen the YouTube chaos at Ludham on the Broads and whether that is heading towards the Canals?

I recall going into the Oranjesluzen in Amsterdam one summer and it was packed tight with a huge number of boats. This however was not chaos but everyone seemed to be enjoying the medley!All part of the fun
