I am sure that the vast majority of forum members will be deeply saddened to hear of the passing away of Sir Terry Wogan. I prepared many a boating breakfast in tranquil surroundings on the broads, savouring the smell of frying bacon and listening to the good humoured banter of Britains favourite Irishman. This always set me up for the day, come rain or come shine and this was in no small part due to Tel,s infectious humour.
Rest in peace Sir Terry.

Terry Wogan was a good chap, he did a lot of good and was a great entertainer, one of the old school who will be missed. RIP Sir Terry.

Thank you for bringing that up, Worthy. Who gives a flying fig?

Well said Pally, who gives a flying fig if he got paid or not. He raised millions and millions for charity, so he should rest in peace without anyone attempting to blacken his name. RIP Sir Tel.   Smile
