After 1 years relaxed restoration work on astral light 3  that has consisted of new marine ply decks and deck beams, conversion to fixed roof and a full grp roof coating plus the decks coated with 3 layers of 600grm csm  restored galley and cabins/ showers all fully restored.
She is now in dry dock being painted an antifouled and then to be fitted with all the exterior trimmings and electronics so in a month or so should be ready for her first long trip since 2005 when she left the broads.
The hull is absolutely superb and after checking all the stern gear everything is A1 so not to much to do on the hull  just antifouling and a lot of sanding and a few coats of 2 pack an the sacrificial rubbing strake to replace. so it should be out of the dock at the end of next week weather permitting
